Chopard’s New Ice Cube Capsule: A Fusion of Elegance and Fluidity
Swiss jewelry house Chopard reinvents its iconic Ice Cube collection with a new capsule that introduces fluidity and geometric beauty to its famed minimalist design. The original Ice Cube line, inspired by the Bauhaus movement, celebrates clean lines and the motion of light—a hallmark since its debut 25 years ago.
The new capsule’s aesthetic draws from the luminous nighttime glow of urban skyscrapers, specifically inspired by the patterns of light from high-rise windows. To achieve this effect, Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie workshops crafted mirror-polished cubes of varying heights and connected them in a flexible, mesh-like arrangement, capturing light at distinct angles to enhance sparkle and dimension.
The collection features a stunning triple-stacked choker necklace and bracelet, each crafted from responsibly sourced 18-carat rose gold. Diamonds embedded on every other cube add a luxurious sparkle, making these pieces ideal for special occasions or elegant everyday wear.
Chopard’s newly appointed ambassador, Bella Hadid, stars in the “Sculpted by Light” campaign, showcasing the jewelry’s fluidity against a cityscape. The campaign highlights the pieces’ adaptability, as they contour seamlessly to the wearer’s body, emphasizing both elegance and movement. Bella Hadid also models other selections from the Ice Cube line in gold and white gold, underscoring the line’s versatility and timeless appeal.
